Financial Literacy in English and Spanish
The Gaining Control Program was established in the fall of 2013 to help participants gain control of their finances, a critical requirement to be successful today. The course teaches budgeting, debt management, and sound financial decisions. To graduate, participants must attend classes, complete homework assignments, and open an Emergency Savings Account. Sunnyside matches 100% of participant’s savings through the program up to $500, allowing participants to leave with $1000 in an emergency savings account.
