HOW CAN YOU MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN A CHILD'S HEALTH?

With school starting in August studies have shown that students that wash their hands with soap frequently are healthier and miss less school. A bar of soap is the most cost effective way to stop the spread of illness in our community. 10 bars of Ivory soap are $3.99 at Target.  The items listed below cannot be purchased with food stamps. They are often luxury items in homes that are in poverty. Make a difference by providing these items to those in need. Make a difference for a family today. 

• Tooth Brushes
• Bars of Soap
• Laundry Detergent
• Toilet Tissue

• Linens - Sheets of all sizes
• Towels and Washcloths
• Blankets (we will start to distribute in October, so we need to stock up now)
•  Diapers (especially sizes 4, 5, 6 & Pull-Ups)  
• Winter Coats, Sweaters and clothing

•    Sunnyside Ministry is looking for a person or group that has some woodworking skills to build a wall mounted cabinet for our conference room to house securely several electronic items.  We have a general plan but are hoping that this person could also guide us. • Thursday Afternoon (1 – 3 p.m.):  Clothing Center Associate, Food Pantry Associate, Interviewer
• Friday Morning (9:00 – 11:00 a.m.):  Clothing Center Associate, Receptionist
